Natalia is a natural brunette. Another stylist had lightened her nautral color to warm, medium auburn.

She was wanting to restore her hair to her natural color and add shine.
Natalia is a fitness model. She had a photoshoot for Oxygen magazine (we did this color just 2 days before!) and needed a color that looked radiant under the lights during her shoot but also looked great in natural light for her everyday lifestlye.
I deepened her exsisting color to a rich, chocolate brunette. I custom mixed a color to add warm tones under the sutdio lights while still giving her a natural, neutral tone in everyday light.
Next, I gave her a cut to add volume and fulness
to her long hair.

Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 2013 Color Collection

I'm so excited about the new Schwarzkopf Igora Royal colors for 2013. True color in high definition. It's a vamped up new collection of vibrant, rich colors... while stilll keeping all of tried and true colors that we know and love from Schwarzkopf. I feel like a kid with a box if new crayons!
I spent the better part of my day off today studying all of the beautiful colors and then stocking my salon with Schwarzkopf's new line.
50% more color retention, maximum coverage and luminous shine. Crisp reds, stunning chocolates and vivid blonds. Can't wait to try them out!

Katilin R., Ombre Color
This is a perfect example of one color having different looks depending on styling and lighting.
Kaitlin has had many Ombre colors with me. I think I've lost count! This time I deepened her natural blonde hair to a very deep, rich espressso. I also brightened and refreshed her honey blonde ends but kept it minimal, only in the front. As you can see in the photos, indoor lighting gives her the appearance of a deeper, warmer base color and caramel ends. In outdoor lighting her color seems to have a lighter sunkissed look with an overall cooler appearance. Adding curls gives a hilighted effect by twisting her honey blonde ends and rich base color between loose waves. Her straight style shows the shading and contrast of her ombre color for a more dramatic look.

Ombre Color

This is Kaitlin's fourth ombre color. The last time I did her ombre we went very light blonde on her ends for summer. She wanted a deeper color for fall while still keeping the ombre look. I darkened her natural color (blonde) in the crown area to a deep rich brown and covered her exisiting blonde ends with a color a couple of shades lighter than her base color. We did this color a month ago. At first her ombre was very sublte, almost one color, but as time passsed her ends gradually lightened to a beautiful tawney color perfect for fall. Exactly what she was looking for.
